Eros Alpha — Beta Program Statement

Effective: 22 May 2026 · Last updated: 22 May 2026

This Beta Program Statement explains the special rules for participating in the invite-only Eros Alpha test at eros3.ai, operated by EtherFun Lab. By joining, signing in to, or using the Alpha test, you agree to this Statement and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Alpha test.

1. What the Alpha is

Eros Alpha is a closed testing program for an AI-companion chat service. The Service is under active development and is provided for testing, evaluation, and feedback only.

The Alpha may be incomplete, unstable, or different from any future public release. Access to the Alpha does not guarantee access to later versions of Eros.

2. Eligibility and access

You must be at least 18 years old to participate. By using the Alpha, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to accept this Statement.

The Alpha is invite-only. Access may require an invite code, account approval, or other controls we choose to use during the test. Invite codes are personal test access tools and may be limited, changed, or revoked.

3. Changes, outages, and interruptions

Because the Alpha is experimental, features may be added, changed, limited, or removed at any time without notice. We may also change models, companion behavior, quotas, interfaces, and test mechanics as we learn from the program.

Outages, degraded performance, delayed messages, lost sessions, and other interruptions are expected during the Alpha. You should not rely on the Alpha for time-sensitive or important use.

4. Alpha data

During the Alpha, your profile, chat history, affinity state, credits, quotas, invite status, companion state, preferences, and other data may be reset, migrated, corrected, or deleted at any time.

We do not guarantee that Alpha data will be preserved, restored, exported, or carried over to any later version of the Service. You should treat all Alpha data as temporary test data.

5. AI-generated content

Companions are AI software constructs, not real people. Their replies are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, offensive, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your situation.

The Service is not a substitute for professional advice or care, including medical, legal, mental-health, financial, or other professional services. Do not rely on companion responses for decisions that require qualified human judgment.

6. Quotas, credits, and invite mechanics

Message quotas, bonus credits, trial balances, invite codes, referral mechanics, and similar Alpha mechanics are testing tools. They may be changed, suspended, reset, or removed at any time.

Credits, bonuses, quotas, and invite codes have no cash value during the Alpha. They are not money, stored value, securities, transferable property, or a promise of future benefits.

7. Web3, tipping, and marketplace previews

Web3-related features, tipping flows, wallet displays, character marketplace screens, listings, prices, balances, transaction states, and similar elements may appear in preview form during the Alpha.

Unless we clearly state otherwise in a later written notice, no real on-chain trades, purchases, listings, transfers, or tips occur during the Alpha. Placeholder data may be shown for design and testing purposes, and preview screens do not create legally binding offers or transactions.

8. Feedback and bug reports

You may send us comments, ideas, reports, screenshots, and other feedback about the Alpha. You agree that EtherFun Lab may use that feedback to improve, operate, develop, and promote the Service without obligation or compensation to you.

Please report bugs, security concerns, access problems, and other Alpha issues to lab@etherfun.net. Include enough detail for us to understand the issue, but do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.

9. No warranties or service level

The Alpha is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EtherFun Lab disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

There is no service-level agreement, uptime commitment, support response time, data retention promise, or guarantee that any feature, companion, message, credit, quota, or piece of content will remain available.

10. Confidentiality and public sharing

The Alpha and unreleased features may include non-public information about Eros. Please use reasonable care when discussing the Alpha outside the test group.

Before publicly sharing screenshots, recordings, detailed walkthroughs, or other materials that show unreleased features, please ask us first at lab@etherfun.net. This is intended to protect unfinished work and other testers, not to stop ordinary private feedback or bug reporting.

11. Changes to or end of the Alpha

We may modify, pause, suspend, or end the Alpha at any time. We may also revoke or limit your access, disable invite codes, reset accounts, or remove Alpha features if we believe it is necessary for testing, security, legal, operational, or product reasons.

If the Alpha ends or your access is revoked, you may lose access to Alpha features and Alpha data immediately.

12. Contact

Questions about this Statement, the Alpha, or bug reports may be sent to lab@etherfun.net.
